CEHA News & Activities

Association and industry update

In June 2026, the Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Alliance supported public education on energy efficiency by presenting household appliances to the Energy Commission for use in sensitisation activities.

The items included tabletop refrigerators, microwave ovens, blenders, televisions, kettles, toasters, coffee machines and standing fans. Jerry Halm presented the items in his capacity as Executive Secretary of the Alliance.

Why the engagement matters

The activity reflects CEHA's commitment to supporting stronger appliance standards, better energy performance and more informed consumer choices across Ghana's market.

CEHA will continue to work with the Energy Commission and other stakeholders to strengthen awareness of energy-efficient appliances and responsible market practices.
